I don't like the current attitude of the NFL QBs

You know what's really funny about this thread? The OP said drafted since 2012 and included Newton who was drafted in 11. Just sayin. Of course, this whole thread is really stupid and comical.

I never said drafted since 2011. And why was this bumped? I bet it was that ignored Steeler poster.

If there was internet back in 1965 some dude would've posted this same thing asking why guys couldn't be more like Unitas or Starr or who ever they thought a QB should be like.

How many people do you think bitched and moaned about Namath his first couple years and that he didn't act the part? Reality is some of these guys will grow up and be the part and some won't...that's just the way it is and the way it's always been.

I stand by my opinion. Their lifestyles and personalities are different than the previous breed.

You said since 2012 then mentioned Newton, Newton was drafted in 2011 prior to 2012

I heard you. I have no hate for religious people; just the really "devout" ones who happen to be the most full of shit like you.

You like people who say they’re religious but really aren’t, and you hate the ones who really are religious.

...but you have no hate for religious people.

Like I said: hate-boner for religious people. You.

You mean guys like Michael Vick?

Yeah, that's a personality to admire.

I never said drafted since 2011. And why was this bumped? I bet it was that ignored Steeler poster.

Because it's still really stupid and we all needed to laugh a bit more.

There's currently around 10 total QB's who even belong in this league. The talent across the board at each position has never been worse and the league could contract half the teams tomorrow and no one would even care or notice. The quality of play is truly shit and 95% of games are unwatchable.
I'd get rid of the Texans.

Before their other good player gets hurt. Matter of time anyway, nobody'd care.

All I said was that devout religious people are more honest (because of an added religious incentive) than non-religious people. That’s a true statement.

Are Scientologists devout?
Are Muslims devout?

You're walking a slippery slope here.

Devout Scientologists are devout. Devout Muslims are devout. Some are just in the club but not really devout.

Devout religious people can also be complete whack jobs. It doesn't matter the religion. It's how cults are started.

Thank you for that non sequitur. :ranger:

A sport where it's almost required to cheat (PEDs) is going to tend dissuade people from getting into it if their religion requires them to be truthful. And no, just because someone says they follow a particular religion doesn't mean they actually do. Regardless, truthful people generally aren't succeeding in pro' sports IMO (except maybe QB).
