I think it's a real shame that all the controversy over the flag is overshadowing the Shakespearean Tragedy Redemption story of Tony Romo coming through in the clutch in a playoff game!

Could be one of the biggest stories of the season but being overshadowed by the specter of NFL officiating.

Irony of course that if the refs had done their jobs properly (like calling the Dallas O-line for blatant major holding) on the game winning drive, Romo would most likely have fallen short (the 4th down and TD should have been called back, the defensive holding been off-set). Of course, the defensive holding call for taking out the RB was in itself correct, yet has rarely if ever been called this season (and many teams did the same to McCoy or Sproles throughout the season).

The big difference then would be that Romo most likely would not have lost because he Romo'd the game... which would have been a serious difference with the past.

It's all Eagles fans or anti-Dallas fans have. Everything is anecdotal and an attempt to bolster Dallas.

For two decades the story has been how Dallas can't win in december or the playoffs. Now we have one good december and win a playoff game and it's because the league is fixing it for us to win. As if they suddenly care that Dallas wins.
