A lot of B1G coaches need to go.

Why one didn't go after Dave Doeren I have no idea. Now he is wasting away at NC State.

They need to think outside the box. Find the next diamond in the rough that brings something new and outside the norm. Reinvent the program if you will. Change EVErYThINg

That is the only way the non traditional teams such as Oregon or Iowa can compete with the traditional powers for an extended period.

Michigan tried that. He needed to replace everyone on the entire roster as they were all perfect fits for the old system and awful fits for his new system. So they sacked the first year. Then got better and better. The year he finally had a full recruiting class coming in as juniors and should have been able to compete, they fired him and switched back to their old system. So they needed to get all new players again. Now they want to fire that coach too.

And frankly I love it. Hopefully they fire Hoke and switch to a completely different style again and need to restart from scratch.

Good post. If I were a Michigan fan I would feel the same.

Can't wait for game in E Lansing next season

Why would any sane person give him such a great contract without him really doing anything special? I guess that's the irony of most of the college football coaches...

At one point in time, there were rumors that he might go to the NFL and Iowa overreacted by throwing Fort Knox at him.

Captain Kirk called a draw play twice inside ISU territory on 3rd and 8 and then again on 3rd and 6

Captain Kirk called a timeout after ISUs first touchdown in the second half just in case the clock would run during the the PAT attempt

Kirk Ferentz decided it was a great idea to only throw to our wide receivers 6 times in the first 49 minutes of the game

He should have been fired for hiring Got Damned Greg Davis........that alone was not only a fireable offense, but a complete banning from the state.

Kirk Ferentz might be some sort of "Super Cat" that has infinite lives as I have listed 4 fireable offenses in just one game. Let's extrapolate that...16*12*4. This is how many times KF has made a dumb coaching decision in his coaching tenure while at Iowa. 16 years, 12 games a year and a conservative 4 retarded decisions per game equal $4,000,000 a year

I've always been a KF supporter and understand the stress that a collegiate coach is under but on e that stress interferes with my football Saturday then we have a problem. My wife was afraid to talk to me fearing that Ray Rice may take over my body

I'm willing to forego the 2014 season and want to lose the rest of the games that way we force our AD to make a decision. The problem is that these two are so delusional that something that makes sense will never occur. They kept my golf coach employed there for 13 years and he was by far the worst coach in NCAA history

Looks like he didn't get fired today. As if the B1G doesn't look bad enough, he'll lose a few more games for you all this year.

Kirk fucking Ferentz needs to be immediately dismissed from the team. Did you know that since 2006 Iowa has lost 12 times when being a double digit favorite. That obviously leads the B1G. The second place team has lost 3 games. We fucking own that stat.

FIRE KIRK FERENTZ!!!

You have my sympathies. It's amazing that Ferentz still has a job.

obviously the only thing left to do is find out what this guy has on the ppl above him. Iowa could be the next Penn St. Ahhhh... set it ablaze just to watch it burn. Time to get some evidence. I'll get started wiring the women's locker room too just in case. Anybody want to volunteer their time to go over this evidence?
