Hurricane Harvey is a lil bitch!

Finally got a call from my daughter in Victoria and they made it through ok. Were forced to evacuate a 110 year old house that has lived through all the previous hurricanes. Went through a Cat 3 14 years ago within 8 miles of the eye wall. They were give evacuation orders yesterday morning. So they went to Victoria to a new house that barely made it. Part of the roof is gone, window blown out, and other leaks. Had to leave because they have a 2 year old and it's child endangerment if you don't leave for an evacuation order.

Thanks. They are fine. Now just gotta wait and see how much it rains and floods. My son was between Victoria and Houston and they made it through fine also. We were able to keep in contact with my son but we didn't hear from the daughter from around 9:00 last night until about noon today. Needless to say, me and Mrs. Droop were more than a little worried.

I would imagine that LSU and BYU are having some serious conversations from the sponsors
down in Houston, right now.

As bad as that water is now and with rain expected thru Wednesday, there is no way
the State or Feds are gonna allow all those extra folks to come into that city.

Houston has had a record 51.88" of rain from Harvey. On average, depending on the moisture, you get 10" of snow for every 1" of rain. Floods are horrible, what the fuck would describe 520" of fucking snow in 3 days?
