That bird brain of yours better remember what happened the last time you faced our HC. Petersen took a hot dump all over Nike U and Uncle Phil's face....twice! So bad, you're school refused to book another series like a bunch of cowards. No more hiding duckies.

If we didn't schedule LSU, we'd have the easiest schedule ever. Our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th toughest games are @ Iowa, vs. Nebraska, and @ Northwestern.

@ LSU(in Houston)- Probably the toughest game on the schedule. Will say a lot if this team can keep it close, or pull off a win

vs Western Illinois- Cupcake

vs Bowling Green- Solid team.

vs. South Florida- They were good when scheduled, not great now. Still an interesting opponent.

@Northwestern- Don't know what to make of the Cats. They were good to start, and faded. Expect a good game.

vs Illinois- May as well be Western Illinois

vs Maryland- New kid in the B1G, should be fun.

@ Rutgers- See Maryland

@ Purdue- Darrell Hazel wants them to be a power football team, I'm interested in Purdue in year 2.

vs. Nebraska- Big game, could have division title implications

@ Iowa- Another big game, could also have division title implications

vs Minnesota- Not only is it a division game, but we play for Paul Bunyan's Axe. Nationally people don't care too much, but in the two states it's huge. Plus, Minnesota is getting better under Jerry Kill.

Ours:

Alabama (in Atlanta) -top 5/10 team

Towson- runner up at that level

@Maryland- rival game usually both teams get up for it

OU- top 5/10 team

KU- Basketball school

@Texas Tech- bowl team

Baylor- Top 10/15 team

@ Okie State- top 10/15 team

TCU- Building/getting better

@Texas- could be hitting their stride about right here year 1 under Strong, top 15 team before its said n done imo.

Kansas State- top 15/bowl team could challenge for the conference

Iowa State- They picked up Mark Mangino to be their OC, gonna be interesting to see how they do offensively.

Yeah this schedule will be ridiculously difficult for this team. Realistically I don't see more then 4 wins on paper. (And that's being generous)

I think 10 of the 12 teams we play made a bowl game last year, so our schedule is tough, not as tough as last year, but still strong. Aside from Rice there are no absolute cupcakes (well purdouce, but they always bring their A+++++++++++ game).

Ohio State's toughest games are with Michigan State, Virginia Tech, and Cincinnati. A decent chance to have the 3rd straight undefeated regular season.

Overall, not nearly as tough as some of the other schedules posted, but certainly not a cakewalk for a team replacing its starting QB, starting RB and 3 starters on the Oline. The 4 toughest games come in the first 5 weeks. If we can get through that 5-0 we should go undefeated

vs. WVU*-should be interesting in the first half. Maybe even a 4 quarter game.
vs. FAU-:L
vs. Southern Miss-5 years ago, this would have been a great NonCon...now, :L
vs. Florida-if they're offense has ANY kind of pulse this season, this will be a tough one.
OPEN
@Ole Miss-they have quietly built some high caliber depth on defense. They always play us tough.
@Arkansas-could be a good game, but probably will be a blowout
vs. Texas A&M-interesting first half. Pull away late.
@Tennessee-this could be the trap game. Tennessee is getting better, and they will be ready for Kiffin.
OPEN
@LSU-will be our toughest road game. Could win, could lose.
vs. Mississippi State-playing them after LSU is a pain in the ass. And they will be good this year.
vs. Western Carolina-:L
vs. Auburn-Saban has lost a grand total of ONE revenge game in his time at Alabama. We beat the barn.

Toughest to weakest

1. LSU==========W/L
2. Auburn========W/L
3. Ole Miss=======W/L
4. Florida========W/L
5. Tennessee======W/L
6. Miss State======W/L
7. Texas A&M======W
8. Arkansas=======W
9.West Virginia=====W
10. Southern Miss====W
11. FAU==========W
12. OPEN
13. OPEN
14. Western Carolina==W

6 wins automatic

The rest will be determined by....

Special Teams
Turnovers
Preparedness

If Alabama checks out and wins 2/3 intangibles, its a W. 1 or none, more than likely a loss.

On a scale of 1-10, I give this schedule a 7. If some of these teams pull through, its a 9.

vs.Florida-vs.MissState is going to be a tough ass stretch to go through unscathed.

How awful is the B1G? You know it's terrible if Iowa fans are calling their B1G schedule weak.

They have two good teams and now that they have a billion teams it's easy to miss those. That's a problem that needs to be addressed. These very large conferences are missing FOUR teams every year.

10 and round robin is only way

Kudos to the Big 12

Fuck you Larry Scott for dicking up the P12

The rest need to pull their heads out

It's not, our schedule is a walking pile of dog shit. Our best home game is Penn State and no game is even a close second to playing a mediocre team. And the cherry on top is that we have to play The Horror 2.0.

The problem is that 4 of the 6 "power" teams in the league are in the same division ( OSU, MSU, PSU and Michigan). The west gets Nebraska and Wisky ( and Im not sure you can even classify the Badgers as a power team though they have been good for awhile ). That means teams that are traditionally solid and sometimes very good like Iowa can easily win 10/11 games in the years the schedule is favorable. Add to that that the bottom of the league is REALLY bad right now and you basically end up with a situation where teams have 8 or 9 games vs teams they should be heavily favored against. Basically Iowa is like Alabama this year except for the actually being really good part. LOL
