With all the talk of scheduling, and playing games against "patsy" teams, just how tough is YOUR team's schedule.

Sure, the Gators play a couple of "gimmes", but the lineup of opponents include an improving Tennessee team, Missouri, Alabama, LSU, Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida State.

Is there a harder schedule in the country? Post your tough schedules here.

I wouldnt fear Tenn or Mizzu. I am guessing Tenn is 1-2 yrs away. Mizzu was gutted by graduation. Texas should have a top 20 schedule. BYU and UCLA in the OOC plus the Big12 slate. I think Oregon has a rough road

Nebraska's schedule is pretty weak by that standard.

We won't really know until the end of the season.

For right now, GT's conference schedule is not too bad. Most of our tougher games are at home. Except Va Tech.

OOC, we play UGA in Athens and Tulane at Tulane. As usual, I predict 8 wins on the season.

yah, I agree.
The only B1G coming close would be Minnesota: @ TCU....IOWA, OSU....@ MICH, @ NEB, @ WIS
(I don't know about TCU, but they play 5-of-the-top-6 teams in the conference.)

Yes see all the teams in the SEC West...the non-pansy division.

1st year for our new coach.

Our OOC is very doable this year. That was a blessing with breaking in a new coach. We have 4 OOC games this year because one of them is @ Hawaii. The other three are Eastern Washington, Illinois, and Georgia State. All at our house. We should win all 4.

But our PAC schedule kicks us in the ass right out of the gate. First game is Stanford coming to our house.

So our PAC schedule is:

Stanford
@Cal
@Oregon
ASU
@Colorado
UCLA
@ Arizona
Oregon St.
@WSU

Looking at it, I'd say it's a challenging schedule, but helps that we got Stanford, ASU, and UCLA at our house.

I think it's realistic to say we should win at least 8-9 games in 2014 depending on how well our new coach does. We got some serious question marks with our DB backfield and a brand new QB.

So I think were looking good for a respectable bowl bid. Probably something like the Holiday, Fight Hunger, Sun, or Vegas. Will depend on if a PAC team makes the playoff and how many others make the non-playoff BCS bowls like Fiesta.

Easiest I can remember.

But there is tons of potential for that to change and we could go from a ridiculously easy schedule into a much more difficult schedule if a few schools improve. That is if other schools don't lose in the process, which is close to what happened last year. Picked up a good bit with Auburn, lost a tiny bit with LSU.

But Arkansas, Florida and Tennessee all could potentially improve. WVU as well I suppose, but I don't know how likely that is.

Ole Miss, UL-Lafayette(sure didn't think I would say this) and BYU are challenging non-conference games.

Fresno State picked up a good transfer QB so they'll be good again though not as good as last year.

Utah State brings Keeton back after he was hurt all last year, they will be even better than they were last year.

Colorado State is improving big time under their coach.

We can't ever beat San Diego State and they will be good

There will be a few other decent MWC teams

we get all our easy opponents on the road

Air Force, New Mexico and UConn are the worst we play

Basically our schedule has a lot of good opponents

it does lack that really good top 10 team though

Your OOC really is, its sad to say that Eastern Washington might be the toughest opponent of those

Oregon State did learn last year to not take Eastern Washington lightly though.

Once again, you have the weakest SOS of the entire SEC this year.

"Alabama is the only team in the conference to have less than .500 opponents’ winning percentage. That’s two years in a row (see last year’s here) the Tide are the only team in the SEC to play opponents with a sub .500 win percentage prior to the start of the season."

Ours:

Alabama (in Atlanta) -top 5/10 team

Towson- runner up at that level

@Maryland- rival game usually both teams get up for it

OU- top 5/10 team

KU- Basketball school

@Texas Tech- bowl team

Baylor- Top 10/15 team

@ Okie State- top 10/15 team

TCU- Building/getting better

@Texas- could be hitting their stride about right here year 1 under Strong, top 15 team before its said n done imo.

Kansas State- top 15/bowl team could challenge for the conference

Iowa State- They picked up Mark Mangino to be their OC, gonna be interesting to see how they do offensively.
