He was 17th overall for quarterback rating in 2016 at 90.7. Better than Tryod, Rivers, Palmer, Winston, Eli, Siemian, Flacco, Wentz, Bortles, Cam, etc etc etc. That doesn't even factor in his running ability.

He's never been elite, but he's an athletic QB that can hit open receivers. That alone makes him at least backup quality if not a fringe starter. He's good enough to start for at least a 3rd of the league.

The hatred for Kaep explains why I was able to pick him up midseason in my FFL (drafted QBs were injured) and ride him to the championship, lol.
