How far will Mariota drop?

Ah, but there's always a fool out there. There is someone somewhere that will say, "I can fix him". I wouldn't be surprised to see Jerry Jones take a shot at a guy like this as Romo's eventual replacement. And that might not be a bad place for him. Let him sit the bench for a few years watching and learning. The question is would he be worth your first pick? For a Dallas, maybe so, if he fell that far.

I will simply point out that Tannehill came in with a limited number of snaps at QB and many thought he wasnt worth a first round pick. And while that might still be debated, he has done nothing but improve each year... and he stays healthy.

I'm not saying he can't play in the NFL, what I'm saying is there just isn't enough tape on him in all kinds of circumstances to truly evaluate him. So you only take him with a pick that won't kill you if he busts.

Tannehill, while limited, played much more that this kid.

If the Eagles don't move up to take Mariota because they believe that Oakland or Cleveland might then he goes early. Washington will pass on him at 5 and Cleveland jilted because of Manziel won't take that chance. If he is still there at 7, he falls to 20.

the only questions one should have about marriotta is can he be coached . does he have the basic qb skills you can build on ? is he like Rg3 and wont trust the offense ?

he seems to have the other skills

as for cardale he seems to have all the skills you need but 3 games , 3 great games , still make him somewhat of a risk .

people will get tape on him and figure out his weaknesses but that doesnt mean at the right spot you shouldnt take a good look at him

I hear you but again it was masked by the system. He was missing guys a lot in these last 2 games. I just don't see him being the guy to throw into tight coverage like you need to do in the NFL

Oh I don't see him falling that far. I see him as a bust in the making for sure with one exception: The Eagles for obvious reasons. Not saying he's a long term solution but he has to be a bit scary in the short term

If I'm Washington management, of course, if I'm the Eagles management, hell no!!!! There's only one team simple enough to make a trade like that.........I can't exactly recall which team.......let's think about that and together figure out what team that would be.

I believe the Browns gave up that much to move up for the rights to draft Bo Wallace.
