Chiefs need Xavier Williams, Tre Boston, or both. I know that much. I stan for Mahomes more than anyone on the site probably right now, but he doesn't deserve to be saddled with a bottom 5 defense because the team blatantly neglected several positions with street level players.

So far, we got a RB who will fit the system, a C who by some measures grades out as the best in the game and a potential starting CB.

Not a bad haul for the first week+ or so. But we still need more DBs, WRs and OGs. The OL could be taken care of with the #9 pick, and I wouldn’t be shocked to see a CB taken in the 2nd or 3rd with a MILB taken in there as well.

Overall, a good start, but still a lot of work to be done.

I would give the Bears a B or B+ grade but the poll went from "Outstanding" to "Not Bad" with nothing inbetween.

For the 2018 FA class, I will give you a grade at the end of next season. Right now it looks good or bad on paper. Have to see how it plays out

Bad starts with the letter "B" :noidea:

God you damn Bears fans are always "B"itching about something!

Went with "Not Bad" because of you have to put "if they are healthy" qualifiers on a couple of guys.

Sherman fills a major need and is a perfect fit for the system but it's anybody's guess to how he'll come back from his injury.

Weston Richburg is another great signing as he's again a system fit and C is a big part of Shanahan's offense and it was in a major need of an upgrade.

McKinnon got overpaid but I'm confident Shanahan is going to get a lot more usage out of him than the Vikings got out of him. So I'll say he'll still be overpaid but after the season it won't look so bad.

Signing 3 players is a bit odd or different I should say. Jimmy Graham, Wilkerson and now today they brought back Tramon Williams a veteran CB who had one year in the past with the new DC Pettine while Williams was in Cleveland.

Hopefully a D line with Daniels, a much improved Clark and Lowrey and Wilkerson will get some decent pressure on the QBs which can hopefully help the secondary. King and Jones last years rookies will need to make a big second year jump with Burnett and Randall gone.

I like Dallas' FA class. No one overpaid for, working on signing our own, letting those walk that we can and then getting comp picks next year for them. #winning
