He will come back but I don't see him tearing anything up this season..
So even with Carr's limited practices, he's going to miss this week and then if he plays the week after that he has a good matchup against the Chargers in week 6, but then week 7 is the Chiefs on a Thursday night (no thank you), week 8 at Buffalo who has been great against the pass so far, week 9 at Miami is another good matchup for him, week 10 he's on bye, week 11 he gets the Patriots at home which should be his best fantasy game, week 12 it's Denver, week 13 it's the Giants, and week 14 is at the Chiefs. Now if you do make it to the fantasy playoffs then he gets Dallas and Philly in weeks 15 and 16, but as for the rest of that schedule I would feel comfortable playing him in only 3 maybe 4 games from weeks 6-14, so that is why I don't see the point of holding on to him. Just an FYI, the Colts schedule isn't exactly much better late in the season. In weeks 13-16 look at how brutal this is, week 13 at Jacksonville, week 14 at Buffalo, week 15 Denver, week 16 at Baltimore. Palmer's schedule is much easier than both of theirs and he is actually a really good option the rest of the season except weeks 8 (bye) and weeks 10 (Seahawks), 11 (at Texans), and 12 (Jacksonville).
Id drop luck, add ASJ
Buck Allen would be my nonQB drop
Dropped Luck for ASJ... 1st time I've gotten a TD out of my TE slot all season!
The week looked all doom & gloom again until Hopkins chipped in 2 garbage time TDs last night. Now I have a 20pt lead heading into tonight's game. I have Latavius Murray in my flex, and my opponent still has Diggs & Howard to go.
This could get really uncomfortable tonight lol.
lucky u no one did anything, nice win
I puckered up reeeeeal tight when Howard broke that 40-50yd TD that got called back on a holding call... sheesh
Eifert underwent season ending surgery so I plucked Amendola off waivers. I'll roll with ASJ as my TE for the foreseeable future.
Thinkin my lineup this week will be:
QB: Palmer (vTB)
RB: Lynch (vLAC)
RB: Allen (vCHI)
WR: Hopkins (vCLE)
WR: Thomas (vDET)
FLEX: Jeffery (@CAR)
TE: ASJ (vNE)
D/ST: Chiefs (vPIT)
Bench: Gore (@TEN), Carr (vLAC), Shepard (@DEN), Amendola (@NYJ), L Murray (vGB), Smallwood (@CAR), D Johnson IR
Anyone think Carr is worth the gamble this week?
Is Jeffery the best option for my flex?
I would play Palmer over Carr just to be safe. There's not enough upside to risk it. It's one thing to practice when you get to wear that red jersey that doesn't allow you to get hit. It's another to get blindsided by Melvin Ingram and then just curl up into the fetal position and not want to get up. And for the other question, yes I would probably roll with Jeffery unless it's PPR (and I'm too lazy to go back pages and check) but if it is I would play Amendola over him.
