Give me Hopkins with the volume, and gore for the safety net. Jags D could bottle up ravens OL

This what I would do to start:

RB1: Lynch
RB2: Allen
WR1: Thomas
WR2: Hopkins
Flex: Gore

If Janoris Jenkins is in fact out for the Giants then I would play Jeffrey in the flex over Gore. Golladay is just too damn touchdown dependent to trust and I think the Lions offense is going to be closer to what we saw in week 2 than in week 1.

My god I've been waffling hard this week....

Think I may go with the 3 RB route and start Hopkins over Jeffery as my WR1.

Sorry to keep bumping this pile of a team... But it looks like I have to make a tough decision this week on a drop and I'd like to get everyone's opinion. I've been trying my hardest to hold onto David Johnson & Andrew Luck. And I've been picking up the top RB waivers weekly to the point where I have no easy drops anymore. But now my TE Eifert & QB Carr are out this week, and I need a TE waiver pickup...

Here is my roster:

QB: Palmer, Carr, Luck
RB: Lynch, Gore, L Murray, Smallwood (hurt), J Allen, D Johnson
WR: Hopkins, Jeffery, M Thomas (bye), Shepard
TE: Eifert
D/ST: Chiefs
K: Zuerlein

Drop candidates: Luck, Johnson, Eifert, Shepard, Allen, Smallwood

With how shaky my QB & RB positions are I have a hard time justifying dropping anyone at those positions. Who would you guys drop?

Top TE on waivers:
ASJ
Doyle
J James
Kroft

@TREFF @tlance @Bandit @leftypower @Barilko @The Foot @SteelersPride @SmokingMonkey @femurov and anyone else that wants to chime in...

Honestly if this is just a redraft league I would drop David Carr. I'm not sure Carr will play before Luck at this point and you still have Palmer anyway. In the 4 games Carr played he was good in 2 and unplayable in 2. I just don't think he's worth holding. If you are hell bent on keeping 3 quarterbacks on your roster then I'd dump Javorius Allen, that Ravens offense has just been way too inconsistent to feel good about playing him on a weekly basis. I know because I've played him the last two weeks and gotten nothing out of him.

Why are you so high on Luck @FaCe-LeE-uS?
Honestly I'm just hoping that he'll come in & tear shit up lol... But that's a tall order. The AFC South is still fairly wide open so they'll want Luck to come back & establish himself.

Carr practiced in limited fashion already so I think the door is open for his return next week.

Baltimore's offense is very hit or miss. I'm just afraid that I'll drop him and then he'll go off for 2 TDs in the passing game.

Wow... I'm surprised to see so many people wanting to drop Carr. I understand what Bandit said completely, but I guess I just always viewed him as my QB1.

with TE's, I'm just looking for targets, so AJS is easily the guy you pick up.
Personally, I'm dropping Luck, he hasn't been all that great for about 2 seasons now, and after a long recovery, rust build up, bad line, bad running game, I don't expect him to tear anything up, and even if he does, it likely won't be until his third or fourth game back. You nay not see any real return on that investment until week 9 or 10. Carr will be back sooner, and even worst case scenario, will be very close to Luck's production anyways, might even outright beat him.
