I'd argue Ramos is their #1 prospect.

Arroyo is a bit of a tweener. Maybe Miller will teach him the art of the launch angle though.

Pitt is nuts to turn down Frazier and any one of those 3 for Cole.

Give them Freese too so they have a cheap 3B for the year to replace Frazier and call it a day.

    Harrison is a nice get.

    Great flexibility, very reasonable contract.

That makes this deal make much more sense to me from the Yankee side.

And I would not argue against that. Pre-trade, I would accept anyone putting Arroyo, Shaw, Beede and Ramos in any order at the top of rankings. I personally had Ramos at #4, though, because he is so far away. A LOT can happen in the next 3-4 years while the other 3 should all graduate THIS YEAR.

Totally reasonable. If Beede had shown a bit more control he'd probably be the clear cut #1 right now.

    LOL

One thing stuck in my mind about Cole is that one WC start he had and got shelled, and his body language was so awful like "Dont give a shit"

Thats forever etched in my min

That's still a really nice deal, especially if you're keeping Harrison.

It's a great deal. I do that in a heartbeat if I'm the Pirates.

Still think Cole would be a good pickup for the Yankees and help solve their pitching woes.
