Yeah but aggys don't want to hear that. This is arguably the greatest DB class in Texas state history......and they're going to land MAYBE one of these kids.

IF Texas gets Cook they will have the best class in the nation to an already ridiculous class. What hurts this class is missing on Perkins and Tatum, among others. No difference makers at DL and OL has been an issue for several years.

Herman will HAVE to land some JUCO players to rebuild the line, but I am definitely NOT sold on the OL coaching. You have guys that can't run block......let alone pass block, or zone block at all. I've seen these guys completely miss hitting the guy directly in front of them.

You have to admit both Universities missed on one of the best DB classes in Texas history. Both teams need DB and both shit the bed. OU missed on so many DB and LB, this year, it's pathetic.

Yeah, to a point. A&M has a decent crop of DBs. Can't find a LB to save our lives though.

Sure hope you're right, Romeo. If you are, it's because there are some serious vibes out there on the recruiting trail that Mike Stoops won't be at OU after this season. No one is going to play at Oklahoma because they have a chill go up their leg every time they think about Mike Stoops. He's a negative if there ever was one. If he goes soon enough.......hot damn. Gonna be real interesting in recruiting if that happens. The people I have talked to say he is leaving for what that's worth.

Then it's time to recruit from out of state or pull from the JUCO ranks. Gary Johnson turned out to be a stud at LB. Surely there are some stud DL/OL who could step right in and play immediately.

Looking at one silent and one that’s all but committed. Both are big fish and both are defensive players. Couple other defensive players were closing in on as all. All good gets.

This might be the best DB class out of Texas in over a decade and OU has pretty much shit the bed. That was Sumlins biggest downfall, he loaded up on positions and didn't balance out, his recruiting.

It's a tap dance. Luckily the state is pretty deep on the lines next year. DB class is weak. Issue is when you haven't had a winning season in 4 years going national to recruit has a low percentage return, especially when you come in late. You can go light one year at A spot, but you have make up for it the next year.
