Seriously anyone that has a true appreciation for the game, and not some foam finger waving dipshit, is giving Clemson major props and respect. I'm sitting in a hotel in Tampa waiting for time to head to the airport. We spent a fortune to watch us get beat, and I am not at all mad. Nah, I knew it was going to be a hell of a game and we came up short in exactly the areas I was worried about.
The only thing shocking about it is how good of a game it was in general. After the 2nd half started I'm surprised we made it down to the last second really. And the run by Hurts for the last TD took me by surprise.
Instant classic.
Sorry to disappoint everyone hoping for a big melt. Contrary to popular belief I've been an Alabama fan since the late 70's and have understood the concept of the game since the mid 80's. I know damn good and well how blessed we are right now.

He's still coaching and is thought of, as one of, if not the best ever! It takes a lot of lucky breaks to win the NC and he's won a bunch. He recruits as well as any coach, he manages his players off the field as well as any coach. He manages his players in practice and on the field as well as any. 20 years from now he will be considered the best coach ever, in CFB.
