Ok, it's official.

The writing of this continuation is more akin to the first season of the original than the rest of the original. The way they have handled the time traveling so far has been brilliant.

So ud say its been pretty good so far?

I watched heroes a few years back but only got about half way(got super busy). It didn't start to get as bad(in my opinion) as some people said but it didnt hold my interest to go back to it once i wasnt busy again.

But if this series ends up being pretty good Ill probably get back to it.

The original started great, but quickly turned to crap due to the writers strike and never recovered.

The new one is starting great, but certainly is going aggressive with the story, so it could crash-n-burn at any moment. But so far it has been solid. Tonight's episode was really well done.

It's been okay, but I'm still not that into it.

The best part about the original series was Sylar. Then Peter looked as if he might be able to counter Sylar, but I felt like they never did as much as they should have with that story. The way it ended was just sad.

I'm really enjoying Heroes Reborn. Since this is a self-contained 13 episode season with no plans for any more seasons, the writers couldn't putz around and drag things out, as they had to get everything done in 13 episodes.

I hadnt realized this was intended to be a one-n-done. That's too bad, but probably has led to the more concise story telling, as you state.

However, Under The Dome was intended to be a one-n-done as well. And that lasted 3 years.

Not a good example though lol

My only point is that just because it is scheduled for one season does not mean it will be one season. UtD was a hot, steaming pile.

horrible

my expectations were low, too, but this show is just as unwatchable as season 2 of the original was.
