Cronin loves to lose his mind. No way he's coaching in 15 years at this rate.

I agree; That guy is a walking heart attack just waiting for his day. He was very lucky he wasn't T-D up today. He spent more time on the court than most of his reserves...LOL

27 % shooting from the field, 61 % from ft and 20 turnovers

What a horrendous game by Cincy. Uconn gave them every opportunity to stay in the game too.

Cincinnati did not shoot well and had plenty of opportunities down the stretch, however from what I saw, UConn did a great job on defense; not too many good looks, even though Cincinnati was getting a lot of rebounds late in the game. IMO, Cincinnati is a very big and physical team and when they have a good day shooting the ball, they can beat anybody. UConn just played better-team defense....and they are great at making FT's and that's a big deal in a close game.

Home court advantage is also pretty huge, obviously.

I have posted several times that home teams have at least a 5 point advantage: get more calls, no travel issues, home crowd, and familiarity with the court. On a neutral court, I pick Cincinnati......but not today as I have UConn along with most of the rest of the board.

Watched 5 minutes of Wichita St. and switched channels. it's a shame we don't get to see them play some decent teams more often.....They get a NR 1 in the tournament and we shall see then if they are an excellent team. Hard to improve when beating up on cup cakes most of the year.

That was a weird finish. It was a double bonus. Why did they take away the point on free throw #1 and not allow him to shoot free throw #2? I'm either missing something or the refs fucked that up.

Lets not go overboard with the tough conference.

Tough top half.

I'd put the top 5 AAC teams against any other conference. I'd lose only to the ACC and even then it would be close.
