no way in hell

has to be oakland or minnesota

you know you are losing an argument when you bring payroll into it

Wrapping up this whole subject with a nice and tidy bow, Oakland's O.co yard is a stinking cespool.

Just ask the players, who were once again cleat deep in shit over the weekend.

preach on, preacher man!

i notice you suck less here than at Zigs

Zigs? :noidea:

Oh! You mean Zig's Wheelchair & Bingo Hall? :pound:

I really thought Snoogins would talk Uno into coming back to the Hoop after he (they?) got banned from Zig's since Rock left here. Any updates on what Rock is scared of?

Oh well, who gives a fuck?

Skinny kid Porcello kicking Youks ass was classic :laugh3:

That was funny, but not as funny as Robin Ventura getting "noogied" by Nolan Ryan after he charged the mound.

Hope to see you in the playoffs, Captain! Francona is a class guy, and they will be the team I root for if Boston gets knoecked out.

Stupid me for not thinking of that angle at all. You guys in Boston or thereabouts have no use or reason for this chain at all.

DOH!!!

All I'll say about payroll is it can help, but it never provides.

Meaning there is no such thing as going out and buying a championship. Any baseball fan that has had the pleasure of watching their team play all year and winning it all will attest to that.

It's usually only those who have no experience of seeing their team winning a World Series that think you can "buy" them.

I have officially HEARD IT ALL. :L

I rest my case.

If you could "buy" championships, the Yankees would have over 70 by now.

I agree way more than not, thqat is for sure. Having money lets you address all known issues. However, there is no guarantee that is solves/resolves them. So, money is nice, and, it is better to be a have than a have not.

But, it has been long proven to not be a fix all or golden ticket to and with the W.S.

If there were more than just you, Brock, that Rokketman dude, Navamind, and bravesfan (whom I think is a closet Red Sock), then bash Bahstin more over here, too.

Wait a minute...this thread is full of fegs!

I'd direct your attention to the 2011 NFC Championship game, where he got the shit kicked out of him all day long. One of my lasting memories is of him getting up off the turf with his facemask sideways.

Got sacked 6 times, knocked down hard at least another 10. Still threw for 300+ and 2 TDs, on his way to his second SB MVP in 4 years.

So anyway...........

well that maybe true if i had a chance to try eating there.

the nearest one is Wethersfield, CT ‎ which is over an hour away. i just googled it.

Red Lobster is okay if it's located anywhere that you can't get good fresh seafood in the first place. But up in NE it seems out of place.

Like a McDonald's in India.

Just because they didn't win doesn't mean they didn't try!!!

Thanks Rokket. Bostons my 2nd team & will be rooting for them the whole way (when we get knocked out - as I fully expect will happen). That we make the playoffs at all is huge

But I am still not seeing how Eli won that game. If I recall correctly, it was 2 special teams gaffes that led to the Giants win, right? Wasn't this also the same game Alex Smith threw 2 TD pases?

Just did some fact checking...Eli threw 58 passes that game. That explains the yardage numbers. 5.4 yds/PA. Yeah. Awesome, Eli.

58 attempts, with 0 INT, despite being sacked 6 times, and knocked down repeatedly throughout.

Yeah, Eli had NOTHING to do with it.

Hu, us braves fans have a lot of bad memories of the Yankees so we encourage other teams in that division to keep them out of the playoffs.
