Hawaii gets some help from the refs?

I (prob like most of you) was asleep when this happened. But it looks like Hawaii might owe the refs a huge assist in their win over colorado. Video is in the link.

Hawaii led the whole game. Ref is part of the field. Inconvenient, but not an injustice by any means.

Hawaii used to be pretty notorious for home cooking. That being said, it wasn't like our finish with Wisconsin. Not quite that bad.

True. I just happened to stumble upon this when I had some downtime in the afternoon browsing cbssports. Not a fan of either team, but i'd be pretty peeved if I was Colorado.

They should have put a couple seconds back on, not their fault the ref bobbled the ball 5 times

I blame Colorado for their problems. With no time outs remaining, you need to throw a pass on which you either score, or it is incomplete, or you can easily get the ball out of bounds.

Counting on the refs getting the ball set in time is a recipe for disaster. Colorado chose to be in a position that they were at the mercy of the officials, so that is entirely on them.

time to start hiring in shape/athletic refs instead of old out of shape fools. Colorado screwed themselves either way
