Wasn't there a stretch of games where I would go put 5 bucks on the other team each week as a reverse jinx? I want to say it was in 2012 when we had that big win streak. I feel like I did it the first week and posted on here and then was encouraged to keep doing it. But no, I have never bet against Nebraska actually expecting to win.

Why wouldn't you, Objective to placing bet one way or another is to win money. If you think betting against your favorite team is bad mojo, then don't place bet. Best bet I ever made was the NU & CU game in 2001, though huskers were moderate favorite, CU was playing lights out and Huskers not so much. That was easy money there.

Well 1 out of 8. Kind of what i thought. I don't think it's bad mojo psa. Betting on Nebraska has been bad mojo for me. They always lose.
Betting against them? It just seems wrong. I wouldn't bet against my family, against most friends nor against the Huskers. Some things just ain't right even if you're sure you're going to make some money.
