No doubt and given the huge number of enablers just here on the Hoop it's certainly conceivable that Peyton could be breaking John Wayne Gacy's record and the Manning sycophants would be blaming the discovery of the bodies under his porch on Patriots fans.

The question is not crappy journalism; it is, did it happen and how was it resolved? I agree the timing of bringing it up now is somewhat disturbing. Let Peyton bask in the glory of having cemented his place as first ballot HOFamer and one of the top 10 QBs of all time.
