Yeah -- I believe that is the composite ranking, which takes all the different sites into consideration. That is probably more accurate than what I read yesterday:
Peters has come in with a sizable amount of hype after working himself up the 247Sports recruiting rankings, ending the 2016 cycle as the 34th ranked overall player in the country. While he is unlikely to compete for the starting job this season, that may be mostly out of a desire by Jim Harbaugh and the coaching staff to season him for a full year and utilize his redshirt.
Either way -- that should have a couple elite QB's in the system going forward and worst case scenario, if Speight wins the job, it means he has starter playing great.
