Teagarden plays maybe once a week. He's awesome defensively and has proven that at the MLB level, whereas Joseph has never been up and is not on the 40 man. Defense is all you need from a backup that plays so little. I really don't think Buck cares if he hits at all, but when he hits it always seems to be a big one, doesn't it.
