Don’t like baked ham, so turkey. Assuming turkey isn’t dry, which is basically impossible to do when roasting a whole bird unless you cook the breasts through, take them off, and put the dark meat back in the oven. If no one complains about presentation, I’d rather take the legs off, braise those in red wine and aromatics and stock, and then roast the crown on its own.

I love almost all pork products but American style baked ham is not one of them.

A dry cured country ham, sure. Prosciutto, speck, Serrano ham, Iberico ham (the best in the world), of course. Bacon, pork belly, pulled pork shoulder, well-brined pork chops, pork loin (as long as it’s left just slightly pink and not dry as hell), all good.

Matchup: Clemson at South Carolina
Time: 7:30pm ET
11/25 Free Pick: S. CAROLINA +14 (-110)
Analysis:
South Carolina has not been great this season, but rather gritty, and its 8-3 record reflects that. With their ultimate rival coming to town on Saturday, the last thing I expect is a team with that mindset to roll over, especially with the chances of spoiling the Tigers’ run at another playoff berth. This series has been on in which home field advantage is quite important, with hosts boasting an 8-2 ATS record in the L10. There is also a pretty stout system indicating that SC is in good shape for Saturday. It says to Play on Underdogs of 10.5 to 21 points after having won 4 out of their last 5 games, a good team (60% to 80%) playing a team with a winning record. This system boasts a record of 33-6 ATS over the last 5 seasons. With a perfect 6-0 ATS record as an underdog in 2017, expect South Carolina to give Clemson all it has.

I just keep my options open because sometimes I want one and sometimes the other.
