Chapman, Smith, Sborz, Burke (Bochy aside), Anderson and Barlow are the only guys that should have some level of job security. King, LeClerc, Hernandez, ect. all need to be gone.

I'd figure the clock is ticking on them. This team's obviously looking to make a WS run, and with the trade deadline a month away they can't afford to wait too long and miss out on a chance to definitively solidify the bullpen.

Bochy sees a lot more in him than any of us do, that's for sure.

He has been rumored to have worked with Duran and some of the other young guys. If Bochy wants to use him as father confessor/ batting coach fine but get him off the roster

I don’t think Ragans will develop into a stud and this Cabrera guy wasn’t even on my radar. We protected the upper crust of the farm system and made the major league team better.

I love the trade.

So you can make a trade in June. I hate to see Ragans go, but he really wasn't wanted here any longer by those in charge. The Royals made a great trade.

I think our window opened sooner especially with competition suffering injuries.
I liked Ragans and fortunately for us woe have an abundance aid riches in the farm

I still think we get a bat and my guess is Garver in no longer a starting DH

Great trade for Texas since it helps upgrade the bullpen in a major way.
I did like Ragans, but if this move helps Texas win a World Series, we won't be sweating losing him.

I like this deal as well. Wish Ragans well and hope he works out with the Royals. But as I learned years ago when I defended the Rangers not trading Profar while he had value, sometimes it’s better not to fall in love with some prospects.

Yep… they are nowhere near done. Another bat is almost a given at this point.
