That was MY reasoning although I don't see how the coaches would see it differently. They have already offered North a scholarship so whatever "baggage" he must be carrying according to you guys must not be enough of a problem to worry about

Thats exactly right, the coaches offered both, so they were satisfied with both.

YET, you felt obligated to point out the difference in height and weight, and added hmmmmm as if it needed to be strongly considered.

Well, the proof is in the pudding, both were offered, so the height and weight differences werent a negative or a positive for the coaches. The total package of the recruit passed the VT coaching staff muster.

If anyone would have questioned whether North was TOO tall and TOO heavy, it would be a dumb comment, and the converse is also true.

You're right. That difference in height and weight doesn't matter. If Logan Thomas was 6 feet 210 he would still be the same player he is and would still be thought of highly by the draft gurus
