Would totally depend on the contract. From a talent standpoint its a no brainer. But if he gets a contract based on talent, we cant afford him considering he is also an off field suspension risk.

We could write that contingency into the contract. For instance, it could assume he'll be suspended for four games, but would contain an escalator if he isn't.

I do not agree. Talent does not always trump fit or scheme. Or subjective intangibles like character.

We play enough hybrid that Hardy could be used for sure

Great distraction for our QB storyline. Also could be willing to sign for cheaper to rebuild image.
