They are on the decline in the sense they haven't sniffed a national championship since 2002. As Nebraska hasn't been near one since 2001. I must lol @ you getting butthurt over someone's opinion especially considering the rankings are justified. They haven't made a BCS bowl in 6 years...that would equate to declining in the rankings.

So do you think Miami's recent trend, 2004-2009, is on the level with their past? say 1980-2003

I'm not a Florida/FSU homer. I have no beef with Miami. It's just obvious that their program has been on the decline for the past 5-6 years.

I'm not trying to say Miami's program is going downhill and they're becoming garbage. I'm simply stating in the rankings they've been trending downward over the past half decade.

2007 - (never ranked)
2008 - (as high as 22 I believe)
2009 19 (as high as 9)
