I did see an interview with Tambellini a little while ago on the NHL network, if I'm reading him correctly, I think they've changed their mind and are taking Murray.

The thing is that Murray is not the hands down best defenseman in this draft. He's going to be good and he's the safest, but other guys have arguably more upside. So why not trade down to 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th. You'll still get a very good D prospect (maybe even Murray) and some other asset(s).

If they do pick Murray they'll sell it as he was our guy and this was the right move. All their really doing is pretending like they know something everyone else doesn't, when actually they wouldn't know to piss when their pants were on fire, and just lazily drafting for position. That's a big faux pas if you ask me.
