Or defense, or experience, or size... Getting a near-healthy Uchebo onto the court really helps Pitt in the paint and at the very least, on the boards....a place they've had troubles (the one point loss at Cincy demonstrated that). Like I said though, we'll see how good they are soon, against Syracuse. They will be tested in the ACC.

Harvard is running with UConn, in Storrs. 31-26, Harvard, at the half. I was high on UConn for awhile, but that's not taking anything away from the Crimson. They could hurt a few teams in the NCAA tourney....just wish they'd play a few more quality teams prior.

I think Pitt is a really good team BUT when we are this far into the year and the 3 best teams you have played are Cincinnati, Stanford and NC State its tough to really know how you compete with top level teams. Im not opposed to the idea of Pitt on someones list I simply wouldnt put them on mine until they play Duke and Cuse. Even if they lose to those teams if they compete and are in the games then Ill be impressed.

Sorry but Florida would run Pitt and Cincy right out of the gym.

It probably depends on whose gym they're playing at.... But I still disagree. Those would be good games. Florida hasn't been running any quality opponent out of the gym this year.

Tennesse is better than anyone Pitt has beat IMO and the SHockers dont have a loss. They would be the number 16 team on my list so you could put alot of other teams in there ahead of them if you were so inclined.

Florida is just getting to full strength.

They almost won at the KOHL without half the roster.

Cincy got the doors blown off by X. I like Florida on a neutral floor easy.

Wichita started the year ranked high.

They returned almost everyone from a final 4 team

And have ZERO losses. You really trying to compare?

Plus Wichita beat St Louis who is also better than anyone Pitt has beat. Neither schedule is impressive but the Shockers have the 2 best wins and no losses.

they have a 14-1 record. all their wins came by a wide margin. Their one lose was by a single point to cincy. 5th in the BPI, 22 in the rpi, 6th in kenpom, 13th in sargain

Badgers definitely sufficiently demonstrated why they're are deserving of the top ranking in the human polls (at the very least a single vote) after a 25 pt blowout vs a top 25 team. According to SOS, wins and location played without the preseason ranking biases this is how the top 5 should look
1.) Wisconsin
2.) Iowa St.
3.) Cuse
4.) AZ
5.) MSU

That's your opinion but RPI has Illinois at 12th and both the AP has them top 25 as well. They beat a 21rst ranked/undefeated Missouri team on the road. Also, with the Big Ten being the best conference in the Nation you know at least 7 teams will make the tournament and Illinois is definately a top 7 Big Ten team. Again, based on pure statistics UW is the #1 team in the Nation but preseason rankings is the only way I can see somebody not having them as #1 right now.
