CU was already in a Power 5 conference....Their product sucked for the last few years in that conference. It's gotten worse since their arrival in the PAC.

Colorado should have stayed in the Big12....They could have still gotten Texas kids.

Out west....they cant get the top Cali kids because those guys are all staying on the west coast. Colorado is actually pretty far away from the other PAC schools..

Their move to the PAC ruined their recruiting even more.

I can't disagree w/ anything you've said about CU. Personally I thought they would have fit in better athletically w/ the MWC. And speaking of the MWC did you have an issues w/ Utah (a mid-major @ the time) w/ very little (if really any) CFB history joining the 12 Pac? Just wondering.

no issue at all with Utah.

1. Utah had been very competitive in recent years and a program on the uprise.
2. Utah was coming from a mid-major conference, so their move to the PAC was a promotion, and was going to be a good thing for their program. Given Utah was already becoming a pretty good football program as a mid-major, their move to the Power 5 conference was going to be a step up for them.

Colorado made a lateral move.

Colorado had the
43rd class of 05
48 in 06
32 in 07
15 in 08
48 in 09
66 in 10
75 in 11
36 in 12
69 in 13
63 in 14
71 in 15

their recruiting was sliding before they joined the conference and even jumped up for a year while in it. and has been steady and on par with their last few in the Big 12

Poorus coaching.

no backing at all from the administration.

Colorado is an academic school. I think that is why they made the jump, this wasn't even for athletics, but for academics. IMO.

Colorado administration ditched football ever since that r^pe scandal.

I remember early 00's Colorado was a really really good football program, I even recall seeing on one of their games them showing a short clip of their locker room and seeing it state of the art...now I bet its the exact same locker room as the video clip I saw back in 2000.

The latter years when they competed for the Conf. titles in the Big12 they were like 7-5 type seasons, Missouri and Nebraska were just worse.

That Duck was toking on some of Oregon's finest & thought R2 was filled w/ Doritos!
If that's the case...R2 would make one hell of a chip bowl

In all honesty, I'd feel better putting it on on UCLA -13.5 vs ASU. Colorado should be able to score, unless UO makes those adjustments OD was looking for, like getting a whole new defense...
