UGA offered his best friend, Quintavious Harrow. Most see this as a ploy to get Crowell, and it probably is, but Harrow runs under a 4.4 40 and was not offered until he made a qualifying score on the ACT.

Harrow visited Bama on the 14th, and is expected to be offered by Saban soon, since his academics are no longer a problem.

Crowell was in Tuscaloosa this weekend, will be in Athens this weekend and will give Auburn his last visit on the 28th. It's a little disheartening that he will be in Auburn just a few days before National Signing Day, when he plans to announce.

I've been thinking that Crowell is the most important recruit to get, but after the early departure of Houston for the NFL, I think Jonathan Jenkins, the JC NT and DE Ray Drew are as big as it gets.

Ramik Wilson - 4 star ILB is UGA's latest commit, Georgia had 3 commits within 4 days of each other.

Wilson is expected to fill the vacancy left by Dowtin who transfered because of lack of playing time.

Georgia now only has 4 scholarships left, after todays 2 commits.
Of course, if we were Bama, Auburn, Florida, etc., it wouldn't matter. We'd just kick some guys off, but Richt doesn't oversign.

After recruiting slowed to a halt for a few months, UGA has got commits from 5 guys this month.

Here's where we stang now...

1) Christian LeMay - QB (5 star) - enrolled early, counts as a 2010 recruit
2) Jarvis Jones - LB (5 star) a USC transfer, counts as a 2009 recruit
3) Justin Scott-Wesley - WR (4 star) "fastest recruit in the nation"
4) Watts Dantzler - OL (4 star) - Dantzler honors father through football
5) Sterling Bailey - DE (4 star)
6) Chris Conley - WR (4 star) enrolled early, counts as a 2010 recruit
7) Devin Bowman - DB (4 star)
8) Amarlo Herrera - OLB (4 star)
9) Corey Moore - S (4 star)
10) Chris Sanders - DB/WR (4 star)
11) Nick Marshall - DB (4 star) scholarship for football but expected to play b-ball also
12) David Andrews - C (3 star)
13) Hunter Long (OL - 3 star)
14) Zach Debell - OT (4 star)
15) Nathan Theus - OC (4 star) He and his brother John Theus - 5 star OT have said they will play together.
16) Chris Mayes - DT (4 star)
17) Sanford Seay - WR (3-4 star)
18) Damian Swann - DB (4-5 star) - committed at USAA game
19) Ramik Wilson - 4 star ILB
20) Quintavious Harrow - DB (3 star) from Carver High in Columbus runs below a 4.4, Crowell's friend
21) Jay Rome - TE (5 star) #1 TE in the country
22) Malcolm Mitchell - DB/WR (4-5 star)
23) Xzavier Ward - OT (3 star)
24) Ray Drew - DE (5 star) ordained minister, helped recruit for the Dream Team
25) Kent Turene - LB (4 star) former USC commit
26) Isaiah Crowell - HB (5 star)
27) Jonathan Jenkins - NT (4-5 star) JC transfer

Just to correct an earlier post, UGA has 26 scholarships to offer. so, even after Malcolm Mitchell's commitment, Georgia still has 5 open spots.

Go DAWGS!!!!!

wow. I never thought we'd steal this many recruits from Bama. This is insane. The past 5 years are classes have been pretty good on paper, but this actually looks legit. Especially after a 6-7 season
FUCK UCF!!!

I've been impressed with our TE depth so far. Granted Charles did have some drops last year but everybody does. The number 1 prospect can't hurt;)

One of the things I've heard is that Charles (6'3") is more of a hybrid between WR & TE, and he's not the best run blocker. Whereas Rome (6'6") is more of a traditional TE, who will help with run support also. Also, Bruce Figgins may be moving to FB.

So, Charles & Rome may be seeing the field at the same time in a lot of 2 TE sets. This will also help with our lack of playmakers at WR, of course with Green gone, one of our WR's are bound to step up.

We aren't gettin Richardson it is between UT & Bama for him and he's just enjoying his visits, however I am hearing we have recieved a verbal from a LB out of Florida, Kent Turene. He visited over the weekend with Crowell, Jenkins and Harrow. He was committed to Souther Cal, but looks like he'll be a Dawg now.

If we finish off the class with Crowell, Jenkins, and Drew I'll be estatic and we'll have a top 5 class.

We have offered OT Taylor Gadbois out of East Paulding High School a scholarship. He's currently committed to Miami (FL).

Not breaking news, but looks like (Juco 4*) Jonathan Jenkins is a heavy lean to UGA. He is a perfect fit for the NT position and is pretty much guarenteed the starting spot next year-- His impact could be Terrance Cody like.

UGA got a commit from Xzavier Ward, a 3 star OT with a lot of upside. He is expected to redshirt.

Ward is the 6th OL commit for Georgia, not sure what this does to the Antonio Richardson - OT (4-5 star) situation, but word is that UGA is still looking for one more OL.
