Braun obviously still has a ways to go in his own end.....but my is he good in the offensive zone. 2-0 good guys.

EDIT: Notice Sharks defense how most of his shots are wrist shots not slappers after taking 5 seconds to wind up.....

Braun has a heavy, heavy, and i mean heavy shot. I'd hate take one of those to any part of my body.

Ottawa's defense (and forwards for that matter when in their own zone) seem to have a hard time with the Sharks size.

And Chris Neil's a dirty, little bitch. Mayers, do your thang.

Good of Boyle to stick up for Pavs against a much bigger, tougher opponent

With the score 4-0, I wouldn't play Heatley much anymore.....

Having Malhotra would mean no Ferriero on the 2nd line. I like what Couture is doing but Clowe/Couture/Pavelski would be much better than Clowe/Couture/Ferriero. It's really sad how little depth this organization has.

I'd love to still have Malhotra for $1.5mil, but not for $2.75. Couture has more than made up for his offense, and faceoffs. In my estimation they're about the same with an edge to Malhotra defensively.

Malhotra's contract would have killed the Sharks.

Unfortunately, little depth is something you have to take when you have two 1-dimensional superstars getting paid big bucks.

You now have Pavelski who's making $4.0m playing the 3rd line. I realize Malhotra's contract was an overpayment for him but when the team depth is as poor as the Sharks a little overpayment isn't always a bad thing.

Dang, I leave work right at the end of the 2nd and by the time I get home it went from 2 - 0 to 4 - 0? I guess I can't complain but I would have liked to see that.

Oh for sure, in retrospect, I'd rather DWil have given Malhotra $2.75 and not given Wallin all that money. But you have to admit Cmon, Malhotra making $2.75mil for the next 3 years would have handcuffed the Sharks really badly.....especially the next two seasons after this one.
