Were Vlasic and Demers paired together before the break? I like that they are. I also like that Wallin and Huskins are paired together. I know it makes for a horrible 3rd pairing, but at least they aren't split up and harming the play of other dmen like how it was before when Demers was held back by Huskins and Vlasic was harmed by Wallin.

It's always good to organize all the crap you have and sort it aside.

How has the play been so far?

Stuck with VS feed here on NHL Center Ice and they just switched to the Sharks game... the PIT/NYR game took forever to end.

Well - I haven't seen a game in almost a month with the travel... and they look like a COMPLETELY different team then I saw back then. PP needs a little more hustle, but wasn't horrible. D needs to protect the net a bit better.

Jovo-dive-ski drew a weak penalty - and the PK didn't look very effective...

overall not too bad, but they need to close those chances much better.

Do the Sharks actually have a system that they're supposed to play? Because I honestly don't see it. It doesn't matter who is on the ice, all I've seen so far is 5 guys aimlessly wandering around. These guys must have the collective IQ of a grapefruit.

On the 2nd goal, I don't care how hard a shot you have, no screen, no deflection from above the circles, Niemi's gotta come up with that one. Bad, bad goal. They can talk up Yandle all they want, it doesn't make it not a bad goal.

Anyone else when Hahn said the Yotes would like to take the 2-0 lead into the intermission and not give up a scoring chance, only to see the Coyotes carry the play for the final 30 seconds and almost score again? I found that pretty funny.

Yeah, the Sharks are good for excuses. The European trip to start the season being one of them. Awful 1st period giving up 18 SOG, predictably giving up a PP goal with a crappy PK right after failing to score on the PP and then giving up the trademark late goal with just over a minute left in the period. Typical effort by this loser team. When was the last time this team jumped out to a 2-0 or a 3-0 lead? Nice BS 1st period right after the break.
