I was thinking the same thing.

I have been watching this on TV (though thankfully I missed either/or's homer). The Dodgers need this game to stay alive in the playoff race. And yet, I'd say there are fewer than 20,000 people at Dodger Stadium. There are whole sections that are empty! What sort of fan base does this to a team in the playoff hunt?

Maybe next year they can take some of their cable TV money and go out and buy some fans, just to make it look like people care.
