Game Week Thread: Time to get ready for Miami

Hearing Johnson has an MCL sprain. He might miss the Miami game. Fortunately for us Miami is a mess.

Idk, they've won 2 of their last 3, including wins against Cincy and San Diego last week. The line is -4 for the Panzers. Got to bring our A game. Tannehill has a big arm, and good feet, too. They're 5-5, and not a bad team.

We can't let ourselves get too confident here. They are a much better team than the current mess would allow you to believe. We need to play hard, keep pressure on Tannehill (most sacked QB in the league), keep balanced on offense and Cam has to keep spreading the ball around as he has as of late.

Two of the top teams in the NFL and now a playoff contender. Whatever happened to our easy schedule? LOL

This one has trap game written all over it. We've won 6 straight and have a short week to prepare. Miami if fighting for their playoff lives and we are supposed to win this game. We can have no let downs. This game will be a good indicator of how well the Panthers handle success.

My question is where has Frank Alexander been? didn't see him at all on Monday night instead Horton and Addison where playing with Johnson out.

Miami is a pretty good team, i dont think they are a good running team and we should make them one deminsional and should get pressure on Tannahile, that being said Tannahile has performed well despite all the hits so he is not getting rattled by it.

^^^ I just checked the box score, and if Alexander played, he didn't register a tackle. Lost in the excitement, Star had 5 tackles, 1 sack and a TFL. Might have been his best game so far.

Bold: yeah, that's what I keep thinking. Miami lost to Baltimore by 3, TB by 3, and Buffalo by 2, so they could have had a better record at this point. But the team knows what this game means. If anything good comes out of Johnson's being out, it's that the rest of the D knows they're going to have to step up, and be on point in this one.

thats what im saying. he didnt play at all. and i was making an effort to see him when johnson got hurt!!

Blackburn might not go again, Klein will start if he can't.

Hardy missed practice yesterday with a sore knee but is expected to play Sunday.

Johnson, Hartsock, Scott, and Blackburn are all out.

Patterson is listed as out for Miami.

Bold: Guess they're going to have to step up. Wonder if Miami is going to try some 9-man fronts, like NE did? Pats were def able to combine the power run (to keep us honest) with accurate, short passing game.

I am not seeing any signs of the Panthers getting caught up in all the press accolades. I think this will be a solid game. Nothing fancy - everyone just does their job. A 21 to 10 sorta thing

That's kind of the way their season has gone. I could not believe they lost to Tampa, even though I think Tampa is better than their record indicates. I could see them playing spoiler for somebody this year.
