Another ridiculous part: Is Tyrion for some stupid reason jellous of Jon?

No, quite the opposite. Tyrion is shipping them and trying to get them together.

It's about time. One incestuous relationship just wasn't cutting it.

I didn't really get that vibe, as much as he's just on to Dany and how bad she wants Jon.
But he took it personally when she said that Jon is too small...

Not really. More that Dany realized the insensitivity of her criticism of height, given that Tyrion is a dwarf, and started to take back what she said immediately.

Good episode, but too many magical red-shirts popping up out of nowhere. How hard would it have been to actually show 12 or 13 men marching at the beginning and have the red-shirts actually visible on the island? Having them appear out of nowhere in order to provide sacrifices to save the named characters was pretty lazy writing.

Yeah, I kept thinking one of the main characters died and rewinding.

Ace hardware for the chains? Who has chains like that in the middle of nowhere?

Thank goodness for the nearest local 'Anchor Chains 'R' Us' retail outlet:

The Night King jumping into the water and emerging a few moments later while riding the undead dragon into the air would have been much cooler and believable as opposed to having all those giant fucking anchor chains.

Didn't like Arya's scenes in this episode. Her arguments against her sister made no sense. And she saw Sansa fighting when Joff sentenced her father to die.

Exactly.....

Arya knows damn well Sansa was essentially a prisoner in the Red Keep, and was forced to write that note just like Ned was forced to make that confession just prior to being beheaded.

Arya was written as being a complete tool in this episode. Boo to the writers.

Don't agree with the Arya hate.

Sansa's been the one who's been a complete tool this season. Disagreeing with Jon is fine, but she should have made those points with him in private, not publicly argue with him while he's passing official judgement in the great hall in front of all the lords. Sansa has been undermining Jon all season, plotting with Littlefinger and trying to turn Royce and Glover's loyalty to her rather than Jon.

Good for Arya for giving a warning to Sansa.

There is always 1 or 2 of these per season. It's an episode where everything is purposely designed to attempt to tug at your emotions and piss you off. Although this one was easily the worst.

I get it that there are soo many people watching this show now that few will ever be satisfied with what's presented.

But still, this episode broke the dumb meter, but they're doing it on purpose to get people emotionally compromised and create the buildup for next season.

I think Arya is shit testing her to see how loyal she is to Jon, her, and little finger. She knows Sansa has always been an emotional girly-girl. She was always fucking with her about it at an early age. You saw it in the first couple episodes. After all this time roaming around Westeros trying to survive and learning to be a master assassin, there is no way she goes this dumb, this fast. It's a test.

Sansa is a fool (always has been), and acted accordingly as a fool in the Assembly Hall when she openly disagreed with Jon instead of doing it in private....BUT.... Arya was NOT there.... Arya doesn't know about much of Sansa's foolishness throughout the years.

Again.... poor writing.
