So I am on a clean highn protein diet. No Fat salt sugar or carbs. So I think I may have a beer on game day but I dont know if its even worth it.

sugar from fruits are ok tho.

1330 kick off is a bit early for me to pull out anything great off the grill in time, the hatch green chili harvest is in full swing here so I may pull out the cast iron kettle and make a tater pork white bean and chili stew as I can just leave it in the oven overnight and be set come the morning

I found a new dip i plan on making this saturday. never done it before but it sounds like the bomb. the recipe is at home but it's basically:
cheese, cream cheese, bacon, jalapeno, and corn.

Don't know if it'll be ready for the game but I'll be getting out the smoker. Country style ribs and a pork shoulder low and slow will yield some meaty ribs, pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans and my wife will add some tater salad and maybe some peach cobbler she makes with yellow cake mix and canned peaches.

Thanks dude! Love that thing. Made it this spring and I've smoked pretty much everything except a brisket. Wanted to make sure I had the temp control situated first before I went full retard. I'm in Denver and live in a cul-de-sac with some other Husker fans, so we try to plan GameDay BBQs here and there. Gotta show the FSU fan husband what real BBQ is like. I'll school him on my first brisket.

I've been using mine for about a year and love it, temping it is a fickle bitch but it's a great cooker. Been doing a lot of Malcom Reed's recipes off YouTube lately, award winning bbq, he started out years ago on a UDS. I'm going to fire mine up on Sunday.

I learned the temp pretty well but dropped a little spare change on a BBQ Guru Party-Q for my temp control. Works like a charm. Did a couple overnight smokes and the temp was rock solid.

Those are great, I need to instal another gauge on mine right under the meat grate, all I got is one on the top but it's not where it needs to be
