Someone remind LA they are in the 2nd round of the Western Conference playoffs. They will be facing Gibson again. You have to beat him at some point.

The team that has scored first has won every game too, let's get another one :34 seconds in and set the Ducks on their heels. The Kings dominated the 2nd and 3rd periods possession wise but they didn't generate any quality chances - all one and dones, into Gibson's pads and no rebound, etc.

Get traffic, cause problems in front of his net and use the size to their advantage. That's why Dumbo built such a big team, right?

And Muzzin needs a strong game being on the first pair, he has progressively gotten worse since Game 7 against SJ again.

Overall, need to make Gibsons life harder. Move the puck and get him moving, he is solid when seeing the puck.

If Quick is going to play his style then the D needs to step up and ensure their is coverage. Need to help him out.

Also,agree need to score first as that has determined the winner through 4 thus far.

WTF was I thinking - I meant home game. Long night at the house (Junior II had diarhea cha cha cha), plus I was in the sun all day for Mother's Day at Dana Point doing some water fun with the kids and woman. I passed out on the floor in our bedroom at 8:45pm.

I'm personally not sold on Gibson, the Kings made his life a lot easier than it should have been and he was beatable, Getzlaf made a great save ala Martinez in Game 1. The Kings simply did not generate enough quality shot, just a lot of shots. I've seen far too many rookie goalies over the last 20-30 years come in and have a handful of solid games, look like the real deal and then shit the bed.

Gibson hasn't had his first taste of humble pie yet. I think this young man can be rattled and the Kings should be the ones to serve it to him.

The Kings have a habit of making any rookie or backup look amazingly good. But I cant recall a time when they faced that same goalie again right away so I imagine the game to go much differently. Kings need to put more then 2 good chances on the board and really make Gibson uncomfortable, chasing him out of the game would be nice

Great start.....not even close..can't buy a defensive effort. Multiple breakdowns to start the game and Anaheim scores first. Team that scores first has won every game thus far. This sucks
