Everyone was flat. We will be drafting a CB for sure in the first. Both of ours got smoked all day. We lost the LOS battle on both sides too.

Seemed lIke the game changed early with the fumble (I think it was in the first quarter). Hoping for a better effort the rest of the year.

I thought we were in troubl3 pre-game but I didn't think it would be as bad as it was. II missed the game, but watched the whole pre-game and they mentioned right on air that Carolina hadn't been looking at the playoffs at all, despite still being in the hunt for division title. Meanwhile the Lions all along had been taking it one game at a time. But they said Dan Campbell sat down with the team and went over all the playoff scenarios and what had to happen in their last 3 games.



Maybe this is just a case of the team learning how to be winners, learning how to play one game at a time. Learning not to look ahead or overlook anyone in this league. Hopefully something good can come from it. But it sure felt like SoL. Especially with Baker Mayfield coming out of nowhere and killing their top draft pick.
