Yeah, I'm not sure Davis will ever be better than Whitehead.


He's somewhat timid to me. That might be a little harsh, but he's not overly aggressive.

LB is one of those positions where it usually takes a while to learn, and we gotta remember he's halfway through his rookie season. You can see him hesitating because he' already learning to make reads instead of playing on instinct like he was doing to start the season. It's actually a sign of improvement. He just needs to get faster and trust his reads more. I think he'll be fine.

Wish I could share in your enthusiasm.

But I don't.

Whitehead doesn't completely suck, that's my positivity on this topic.

He's been playing linebacker most of his life. Timid shouldn't be involved. He isn't physical which is a problem since he isn't a nickel back. I just can't envision him being a building block for this franchise. But rosterable seems likely.
