Shark, there are still quite a few quality players left at positions we need. There are 4 or 5 starting caliber safeties, a couple of CBs, a couple of NTs, a few guards, even tackle Bulaga. FA hasn't even officially started. If we can sign a S, NT, and one G or T, as well as 2-3 quality rotational/special teams players we will have had a good FA signing period.

Dude.. I agree, but we need to actually sign or at the least TALK to some of these guys. My fear is that we are going to go total 180 from the ways of old and say we are not going to sign anything but bottom tier FA's then complain when we finish 4-12 again.

Cmon, man. You know we are talking to agents. We just aren't going to panic and overpay. Once the market is established, we will start making offers. We just aren't going to be the one setting the market price anymore.

This was said last year, and everyone was tickled pink that we didnt set the market... and what did we get out of it.. a run blocking Guard who cant run or pass block, A return specialist who cant really return any thing... and an oft injured Tracey Porter. I rest Mah Case.

Oh and Ryan Clark or a shadow of the guy we let walk nine years ago.

Different talent evaluator this year. Can't compare the two....yet.
