I'm looking for some big strides from

Bedoya
Altidore

This may be a silly question, but can players still be added to cover for an injury at this time?

I know a lot of you fuckers hate him, but I'm still looking for a Donovan inclusion here.

I believe so and Klinsman did say if an injury happens that Donovan is his first choice.

After watching the games today, I just hope none of our significant players get hurt. 2 players broke their legs today in WC tuneups

Not a huge fan of Bedoya.

I like to think all of us who follow USA soccer a lot can tell the type of talent each player has. It doesn't matter who shows up until June 16th when(let's hope) the whole team does

So I'm mainly hoping for no injuries and an interesting game since I'll be able to catch a bit of it at work

I've never anyone say they hate Donovan.


People don't understand a forward is only as good as his service and a lot of the work he put in against Azerbaijan went unnoticed, but he did a nice job as a hold up forward and earned some free kicks in some dangerous areas. Tough for a forward to do much when a team sits 11 men behind the ball.


I'm looking for improvement from Chandler streaking up the touch line and knocking dangerous crosses in. I'm hoping having Dempsey playing right underneath Altidore will free him up to make some dangerous runs. I'd like to see more creativity from Bradley. He had a hard time finding the dangerous pass. And I agree on Bedoya. He's never reall impressed me tbh.

Bedoya not starting and I agree, he's nothing special. I really like the back line, the best we can do.

I don't understand a tune up on fake grass prior to the WC. Makes no sense.

No WC team will ever do anything if one of your center pieces is named Jermaine Jones. I just do not get it. He has troubles staying home making Bradley's life difficult, he's a yellow card liability, he's slow and do not know any strengths?

Back line could really stand to clean it up. Even when the mids/forwards are controlling much of the game, these little chances are goals when playing the likes of Germany or Portugal.

Jozy looked really good except for one thing, his finish. That last touch still isn't there for him. Hopefully, he finds it in the next two matches. He's on the verge.

Still need to get the back line ironed out. Johnson looked great attacking from RB. Chandler was adequate at LB, but is better at RB. CB's need to get on the same page. Jones looked like shit too. Too much space between he and the CB. I like green's talent, but him over Donovan? I am not seeing it at this point.

I do not like Timmy Chandler. Also he is hideous to look at. Other than that and Jones playing not as good as he could have, I think they did fine

I still say they aren't getting out of the group, may not even come close. They don't look very sharp.

I'm not reading much into it. Portugal looked like shit yesterday also. All it takes is a lucky bounce here and there that can totally change a game
