I was surprised at first, if this was a couple years ago I would be shocked but the Indians have a talented OF and a lot of minor league guys waiting in line. The only place for him was DH and he just wasn't good enough to hold that spot and apparently not a spot on the roster. Too much young talent is what it came down to.

Dude killed the Twins the last couple of years, glad he's gone. I think we've only got one more series with Cleveland though.

Yeah I was just surprised that he was released and not involved in a trade last week. He seems like a guy the Braves would pick up at the deadline that would suddenly get hot and hit 15 bombs in September or something. At least that's not going to happen
