We have a local donut shop, that puts out donuts at 7:30 AM.

You have to be there by 8:15 AM, or else they are all sold out. It gets worse, sometimes I have been there to only be informed that the donut maker is ill and no donuts that day.

Krispy Kreme closed up shop in our area.

See I prefer just a straight up chocolate glazed donut. There are hundreds of more exciting styles - but I like my chocolate glazed donut.

But even mine is more exciting than the other 2 choices... So I went with donut.
