He was passed by Ke. Fuller and Facyson, 2 bigger and more physical corners that are true freshman. 3rd string behind younger players is pretty buried and Exum will be coming back as well.

I agree. Do you think he believed he would never make the cut at VT, or was it more an emotional reaction to being passed up on the depth chart?

The fact is that any team is going to let the best players play, and Beamer more than most is going to stick with any commitments that he's made to players.

I have no idea. It seems like he would have landed closer to home.

Yep. KC needs to stay healthy. As I said in the GT thread, I see a bit of Antonio Gates in Cline-- a basketball player who makes a big splash when he hits the football field. Kudos to Grimes for uncovering the kid and the Hokies for "signing" him (not really a sign when he is offered after NLI day). Just think, if Cline wasn't here then he might be making plays for Miami.

Yes, he was. I forgot about him. I remembered Bowman, Norman, Clayton and Perez-Means. Duane Brown was a great pickup from there

When do the annual attrition announcements take place?...mid-January? Hearing we have about 5 or 6 headed out the door. Any guesses on who?

I have some ideas but I hate speculating and putting names out like that until its confirmed. These are still college kids and I just don't like it. I have heard we will lose a handful though.
