Game Thread: Florida vs UConn

Florida is playing extremely sloppy on the offensive end. Need to continue to attack the basket because UConn had no answer on the boards when we didn't settle for jump shots.

First 10 min I was like wow Florida is about to murder these dudes, I immediately though of how Louisville was up like 18 to 4 with UK and UCONN comes back.

Game is going to be a fight the rest of the way. Florida needs better shot selection!!

Florida just doesn't have anybody that can beat a UConn defender off the dribble.


UConn can also defend Young 1-on-1 in the post without any help.

Well, we got a big lead early and stopped moving the ball. They have to work the ball inside out else we don't have a chance.

Watching this game I feel like uconn should be up 20 but thankfully they are making some mistakes and allowing us to hang around.

Wilbekin taking some bad shots as well. Reminds me of Walker in the final 8 the last two years. .. play great to get to the final 8 ams then start trying to win the game singlehandedly. .. simply doesn't work.

Brimah is the most underrated player in this game.


Guy plays outstanding defense, hustles, and makes plays all over the court that help his team to win. He may not show up in the box score much, but that kid is instrumental for UConn.

the problem is he just isn't a great shooter. I am very surprised they haven't run more for Frazier, they did a pretty great job getting him open most of the year, he hit the first three he took, and I don't remember him taking another since.

This is the big achilles he'll of having a team with no real leaders in scoring on offense. When things get tough you have no idea who will step up.
