Veteran QBs playing hardball. Bradford now Fitz good for them. I personally don't think Bradford has a leg to stand on but Fitz had a good year.

I hope he sits......some team will give him a call after a season ending injury and he still won't get what he wants

He may not get that 15-16 million he wants but I'm sure he can get 10-12 easy enough. At 33 the number of years could be a concern for a team. He's played on some pretty bad teams and has taken a lot of hits. But a 1-2 year at 10+ shouldn't be an issue after the season he had last year.

Honestly, Denver should be on him a lot more than what they are. Maybe their cap space won't allow it, but I bet he'd be happy to play on the defending SB champs for $12 mil a year. Sanchez is a capable backup and Lynch can learn for a couple of years before taking over.

Isn't his current price $16mil+? I'm not sure if they ever offered him, but getting a QB like him at 12mil is a steal with the weapons they have. Look what he did with an aging Brandon Marshall.

Oh god, no. Kaep is gonna be a 9er, like it or not. I'd pay Fitz 16mil before I'd pay Kaep 6mil. I think Fitzpatrick makes too much sense for Denver not to eventually end up with him.

I think so too. It would have been a no-brainer if he hadn't gagged it up at the end of the year.

The Jets can always play Geno Smith and piss away another year.

They're rebuilding. In NY/NJ it's a decade long + process.

If I had to choose between retirement and playing for the Jets on a cheap deal, I would retire too. I think he is showing his Harvard education. Good cost-benefit analysis on his part.

Now maybe the Jets trade for Bradford? He is delusional and thinks he is a player after all, unlike Fitz who knows his place.

I think Denver should've went after Fitz. He would've improved their team from day one. Likely could've signed him in the 12 mil range even though he wanted more. For NEs sake I'm glad they didn't. Let Denver try and repeat between Sanchez and Lynch.
