Dodgers seemed to do really well, as both Buehler and Funkhouser were expected to go earlier in the 1st round. Their other 2 picks yesterday:

#67 Mitchell Hanson, OF, 6'4, 200 lbs, Plano (Texas) High School, ranked #43 by Baseball America. Lefty, reminds of Shawn Green, Stanford commit.

#74 Josh Sborz, RHP, 6'3, 225 lbs, Virgina (likely a reliever), ranked #153 by Baseball America, below-slot pick likely to save money to sign the first 3 picks. Plus fastball to 95, good curveball and recently added a slider. Originally a starter, converted to a closer this past season.

Two solid picks up top. From what I've read, they are both "safe" picks in that they have basically matured to the pitchers that they'll be, but don't really have a ton of room to grow. That's what you get when you grab college arms versus high school arms.

Anyways, there's nothing to complain about at all - especially if they can both remain starters.
