[MI Nightmare]

Xavier and Wake Forest both take brutal losses @home. The good thing, up until this point about Wake was that they had no bad losses, now they do. This is going to kill their RPI. Same with Xavier. Xavier now with some serious work to do.

That could happen. If I had to guess I'd say either providence or Xavier will ultimately get in. The bubble is very very weak this year.

People aren't nearly as competitive on this board as the College Football board. Mizzou and A&M's success in the SEC in football was this giant talking point about the SEC being overrated in football but Mizzou and A&Ms relative lack of success in SEC basketball isn't a blemish on Big 12 basketball for some reason

I understand where you're coming from. All I can say is that the SEC, this year in basketball is probably the worst major conference, whereas the Big 12 is either first or 2nd.

There was an awful play at the end where JW3 left Randle alone on a pick and roll after Kentucky ran the whole clock down. The whole crowd got quiet. Embarrassing.

Mizzou has 3 good players and a bunch of bums. I must say that scoring 79 is at least encouragement

You've got to block Randle out (easier said than done). That put-back late was a killer.

Still, Mizzou played really well and overcame a huge deficit. UK had the momentum going into the 2nd half otherwise I think the Tigers edge them out. Mizzou out-rebounded UK and shot just as well from the field. It was those Kentucky 3s that made the difference....go figure.

The game gives me a little hope but that game and the @Florida game coming up later on next week are the 2 most important games of the season. They need a win against Florida or they need to win against everyone else to be a tourney team
