"They can hit, they play good defense, they have versatility in their lineup and they have the deepest bullpen in the playoffs, with a good mix of lefties and righties in both the rotation and pen.

No matter if they face the Tigers or Yankees, I think a lot of people are going to pick the Rangers to advance to their second straight World Series. "

On a side note, I think Wash did an excellent job managing this series. So who's the MVP, Napoli, Beltre, or Nefty?

To be fair every ESPN "expert" picked the Rangers to win this series prior to it.

They showed the team win totals under Wash and it's so awesome to see those totals rise every year.

MVP has to be Nap because he had a huge impact on two of the wins, but wouldn't mind seeing him share it with Beltre. Well, hard to share something that doesn't exist, but I think you get my point. :brushteeth:

Nefty wouldn't have got his chances without Naps or Beltre but ya gotta love his 3 saves. And would anyone have guessed our 2 best games from our starters would've came from Colby and Harrison?

Not from what I saw. I thought only a few did. Meh, not a big deal. Everyone that counts knew we would win.

I'm not surprised at all by Harrison. I think everyone is surprised by Lewis. I think those of us who are optimistic were hoping he's just one those clutch post season pitchers like Andy Pettitte and would come through and boy did he! I thought Dutch pitched pretty well, too. It wasn't his best performance but he got the job done. He was good today in relief. How about some love for AlexK?! That man was DOMINANT in this series! Feliz and Nap are my co-MVPs with Beltre being the MVP of the closeout game. It's too hard to just say one guy as MVP because several guys stepped up. Remember without Hamilton's two-run single yesterday, we don't win game 3. The only 4 guys that really chumped it are CJ, Koji, Cruz and to a lesser extent MY. I expect those guys to be ready in the next round, though I doubt Koji gets in a close game.

Colby comes alive in October. He's worth his salary for that alone.

Did you see the ESPN top 10 plays yesterday

1. Granderson's catch's
2. High school soccer game goals
3. Beltre's 3 homers (only 7th time in history)

Whoever compiled that list must have been paid off.
